Multiple connections provide broader data bandwidths for large file transfers and high quality live video or for use by many simultaneous connections. Redundancy and a larger geographical coverage area are provided by using two disparate carriers.

WAAV offers an optional GPS receiver for the AirBox series of cellular routers. The AirBox communicates with this receiver and can send its location to a remote data server.
